Thank you all so much for the Birthday greetings – I had a fun day, up at 4am to catch 6am flight to Port Moresby.
I was picked up by one of the students to see his work in the Cheshire home – spent 2 hours treating some CP clients, then we were taken to the beach for chicken and chips and then went to see the parliament building which I have longed to see and were shown inside – it was beautiful!
Now I am in Kimbe till Tuesday and have been busy +++ in the physiotherapy department seeing the folk who had their club foot operations and some hospital patients with paraplegia.
Today Saturday I went out to the village to visit a tetraplegic man with a stoke and a blind child all whom I had seen on my last visit so good to see their progress.
I leave here Wednesday and head up to the cool highlands for Christmas, with Jannike and Michael Seaward, the new CBM couple. Michael is an eye surgeon and Jannike will help with Callan institute as her expertise is in children with special education learning difficulties.
I will spend New Year at SIL compound, fly back to Madang on 4 Jan and to Wewak on 6th.

So happy Christmas to you all, Jane.
